His story

From Guatemala to Odessa.

Born Juan Carlos Villatoro Rodas in El Carmen Frontera, in Malacatán, San Marcos, Guatemala, Gian was called into ministry as a young boy.

He first studied Software Engineering at Francisco Marroquín University, then followed that calling through Bible school and seminary, where he was ordained as a Christian minister.

In September 2016, he and his wife, Tracy, began meeting with a small group of believers in a living room in Odessa, Texas. That gathering became Victory Church, and Gian has led it since its first service on September 25, 2016.

Today he teaches every week, in person and online, and his messages reach people far beyond Odessa through Gian TV, broadcasting 24/7.
